Time Flies When You're Having Fun

We're now in our 15th year of Mantic miniatures and games being on shelves for hobbyists all around the world!

It may feel like it's gone by in a flash, but HUGE things have happened in that time. Every year, amazing ranges of miniatures, games and scenery make their way from our imaginations onto hobby desks and gaming tables - bringing great-value quality gaming fun to players around the world.

Our home-grown settings of Pannithor and the Warpath Universe have been continually fleshed out in a whole range of games, miniatures, books and fiction - not to mention all the stories that YOU tell across the tabletop by playing!

What we're doing has been noticed, and our team (a few of us below!) now get to work routinely with the creators of legendary universes like Hellboy, Halo, The Walking Dead, Worms, and more. And if you watched our New Year's teaser, you'll know that Assassin's Creed is next...

Every year, new players are discovering the joy of our major wargames (where we've gone from small handfuls of gamers to 190-person tournaments!), specialist games, and board games all the time - and a big part of that is down to YOU, the community, spreading the word about just how much fun there is to be had in our expanding corner of the hobby. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of the gaming revolution!

So to celebrate this 15th year of Mantic games and minis, we'll be sharing stories from behind the scenes and doing some cool things to celebrate. Let's begin with the first one: MANTIC POINTS. A revamp is well overdue, so what better way to celebrate an anniversary year than overhauling our free miniatures scheme.

If you're new, and wondering what Mantic Points are, they're special tokens you'll find on many of our boxes. You simply collect them and send them in for special collector's minis that you can paint and display, or use in your games - an excellent bit of old-school fun that we're proud to keep alive! New Minis Revealed

The new Mantic Points reward minis launch in March 2025.

Over time you can expect a delightful and varied mix of alternate poses, brand-new minis, and collectible . And some other surprises of course!

Let's start with what's new - just feast your eyes on these stunning new sculpts:

From left to right we have: a Trident Realm Thuul Aquamage (for Kings of War), a Matsudan Inashi (Firefight and Deadzone), a Forces of the Abyss Harbinger (Kings of War), a Nightstalker Banshee (Kings of War, Firefight and Deadzone), and the infamous dwarf artefact-hunter himself - Garrek Heavyhand (Kings of War).

If you've read Pride of a King by Ben Stoddard (and you really should!) you'll have come across Garrek in person, and his legend stretches waaay back to despicable deeds committed by an ancestor during the legendary 'War with Winter'. Now with a new mini to do him justice, he's a playable hero character in your games of Kings of War, along with other legendary dwarfs like Rordin from Dungeon Saga Origins.

So gather those points tokens and get ready!

Out With The Old

With new things on the way, it's also time to retire the old Mantic Points range - these classics have done their time and are ready for a well-deserved retirement!

So between now and March, we'll be taking final points orders against some of those old favourites.

A Brave New World

At Mantic, we're always trying to be at the forefront of new developments in the industry - as you'll have seen with innovations like the Mantic Companion and Mantic Vault.

So not only will the Mantic Points range introduce new miniatures, but also a new medium and material!

Behind the scenes we've been investing in (and extensively testing) cutting-edge new 3D printing equipment that will allow us to produce limited runs of minis using Master Quality Resin. This is the same kind used for the pieces we create our Master Moulds around - strong, flexible, and far beyond what you'll normally find in consumer-grade 3D printing.

And if you speak the technical lingo, you'll be excited to know that our process will allow for us to produce in this very premium resin at 14k Print Resolution and 0.02 Layer Height Prints. In normal speak - the minis we can produce this way are smooth, without any visible layer lines, and full of beautiful crisp details.

And you can get them from March using just your Mantic Point tokens and the cost of postage - we think it's a great deal to reward our loyal fans, and we can't wait to get these awesome new miniatures into your hands!
