Community Round-up: August 12th

It's Wednesday! And it's officially about a million degrees here in the UK, which means my capacity for complicated intros is severely limited today. Just imagine I've tried to say something amusing, skip this text and then move straight on to the pictures. Then again, I won't kid myself, that's probably what you do anyway.
This amazing Nightstalker warband just missed the cut for last week's round-up and we actually made a mental note to ensure we included it today. How's that for actual planning?! Ryan Peterson has done a stunning job and the moody lighting is very cool too.
It's been a while since we've featured painting master Daniel Read. We've been waiting for him to finish this horde of Basilean Men at Arms, but we couldn't resist this work in progress picture. Awesome stuff.
Elsewhere on the Kings of War front, Rusty Shackleford has finished this menacing troop of Mutated Mastiffs. Either that or professional dog walking has become a whole lot tougher.
Over to Hellboy now and Jose Maria Carnero Diaz has done an excellent job on capturing the Mignola vibes with these minis. The bases, in particular, are a nice touch as they fit in with the tiles from the board game.
We finish - because it's simply too hot to type - with Marijn Bierhof's Asterian Strike Team, complete with Ota Sora for assistance. Not long now until the Spectra and Matsudan will be available. YAY!
However, before I go and lay down in a dark room surrounded by ice cubes, I'm celebrating after finally finishing two hordes of the sexy new Kings of War goblins. Although it's taken me a while to get these finished, I loved every moment and can't wait for the goblins to become available for everyone this October. Seriously, these are the best hard plastic goblins I've had the joy to paint.
