Thank Thegn its Friday!
The Friday Feature will bring you a plethora of great entertaining content every friday, including new release articles, work from staff and content creators, store visits and lots more!
This Week we take a look at what the staff here at HQ and some content creators from the community can do when they get their hands on the amazing new Riftforged Orc Stormbringer On Manticore!
Rob needed to upgrade his usual Goblin brush to a slightly larger Orc sized brush to complete this project but he has still managed to capture the same character and energy in this Riftforged Orc and his mighty Manticore.
Jonny opted for a similar scheme for the Manticore as rob with the more natural lion fur. His Orc's armour is achieved by washing black contrast or speedpaint over a light bright silver.
K has been feeding their Manticore copious amounts of branded energy drinks and its given them wings! It's also fun to see the different colours some painters have opted for with the Orcs skin tone.
From a blue Orc to a stunning blue Manticore! Clive has gone for similar tones to the box art for the Manticore but chosen to have a Pale Orc riding atop.
Martin is well under way with building and painting a full Riftforged Orc army and this model will take pride and place. You can check out his video on speed painting the Riftforged Orc regiments HERE.
Savage by name, savage by paint job! This almost ethereal looking Manticore would be enough to give the bravest of troops nightmares. Nick chose to give the Stormbringer the helmeted head, remember you get both options in the set!
And finally, we are also looking to send out monthly miniatures to content creators out in the Mantic community to showcase their own work too. Paintbrush_Nightmares put us all to shame and had this painted within days of being given it and what an amazing job they have done!
