Mantic Open Day 2016

The Mantic Open Day is almost upon us! Here's some of the details you'll need for the day.

Important Stuff

The Open Day will be at Mantic HQ  in Nottingham. You can find our address here - please note that we will have limited parking available on site.

If you are travelling in by train, then the best plan is to get a tram from Nottingham station to Bulwell (take the Hucknall line) which'll put you five minutes walk away. Bulwell train station is located next to the tram station.

The doors open at 10am. If you have purchased a ticket online, then we will have your name down for entry. You will also be able to purchase tickets on the door.

We'll be open all day until around 4.00pm. Lunch is not provided, but Bulwell town centre is a short walk away and there will be catering on site, including the wonderful Cozzmic Cakes. (seriously, those cakes are ludicrously good)

Shiny Models

We'll have a brand new Deadzone show-exclusive model on sale, along with the Necromancer and Dwarf King from our earlier shows in the year,  should you want to pick those up. The Mantic shop will be open and fully stocked on the day with our entire range, with runners ready to go down to the warehouse and grab anything else you might need.

The Studio will be on hand to show off some of our work in progress miniatures and games, with sneak peeks of upcoming releases. You'll be able to ask questions about our design process and upcoming games, such as Warpath or the Walking Dead.

Models from the Mantic Studio armies will be on display, including a few new releases that may not have been seen yet ;).

Hobby Time

If you need tip on building your Battlezones, then our resident Terrain Experts will help you out. We'll have a dedicated area set up for terrain building.

We'll be running a painting competition on the day - with a twist! You'll be required to paint your model - from start to finish - on the day in our painting area! There'll be prizes for the best painted miniatures.

Fantastic Games

The Leicester Phat cats will be on hand again, running massive display games. They'll be playing through 'The Last Stand' scenario from Destiny of Kings campaign, as well as running a huge Warpath game using the new rules!

Pathfinders will be demoing games of Deadzone, Dungeon Saga and Kings of War to help new players get into the hobby.

Seminars and Secrets

We be running the (in)famous seminars on the day, talking about where Mantic is and the shape of things to come. Expect beans to be spilled. The schedule is as follows

The secret room will also be returning with more sneak peeks of Mantic's upcoming releases.
