Midweek Round-Up 5th January
5th Jan 2022
Jonny Mann
Welcome to the Midweek Round-Up.
This is the new place to find all the best content from in and around the community over the last week.
No, these are not Mantic staff members after the Christmas party, they are excellently painted markers for Hellboy: The Board Game from Holyfireman
Next up gamersadhd has painted up these GCPS Troopers for Deadzone and Star Saga. We here at HQ love the colour scheme!
forest_hat gives Armada a much needed 90s rave feel with their Ripper Hulk.
Bucket hat and glowsticks optional.
Speaking of Armada, Mariete Mckagan is starting his voyage into the game and looking for fellow players in Thailand. Looking at this photo, I'll be putting in a travel request with Ronnie straight after writing this! [Rob's extra note: Jonny, it's probably best we both go so Mariete has more people to play against. Only fair.]
White armour can be one of the trickiest to paint well and Sam Lowrie has mastered it here on Shadow from Overdrive. Sam plans to bring it to the Bulk Grogan Memorial Trophy Tournament on the 29th here at Mantic HQ.
For those over the pond, Timothy Smith and Allen Morrison posted this recently:
"Kings of War RETURNS to the Atlanta area. We are happy to invite you to the "Peachtree GT"! Feb 19th-20th 2022.
It will be hosted at "YKnot Sports Bar" so this event will be 21+. We will have a dedicated space on the bottom floor of this amazing three level local bar! Literally everyone who works here knows Allen Morrison personally. It will be a blast.
Address: 216 Northlake Dr, Peachtree City, GA 30269.
The event will be 2300pts 5 games.
Please email [email protected] to register."
How incredible is this event logo?! Hope you have a blast guys!
And finally our very own Nick Savage showed off what he got built through 2021. Considering he started this Abyssal Dwarf army towards the end of the year it's a great effort! Nick will be helping with some Kings Of War battle reports in the near future so you can see this army in action!
The once irregular update, will now be regularly coming to you every Wednesday, so keep your eyes peeled! And if you want to make sure we spot your great work, use the hashtag #MyMantic when posting on social media.
