Nightstalkers take many forms – often perceived by different races in different ways depending on the superstitions and fears of a culture or individual. As in the life they were so cruelly ripped away from, there are many different types of stalkers, sometimes even shaped by remnants of memories and personalities of their lost mortality. Sometimes, when the powers of the Abyss are strong, the presence of the Nightstalkers rips a portal in the fabric of reality – a doorway between dimensions.
The Nightstalkers have had a fantastic facelift, no don't worry, no nip and tucks to the horrifically beautiful aesthetic but the Butchers and Reapers are now in new hard plastic. These stunning new sculpts are designed to embrace the multi-base and come with the new MDF unit bases allowing for more dynamic poses and also come with new basing items to bring your multi-base to life. Oh and as well as multiple different head options and such, each frame will also make a wholly new unit, soon to be added to the Nightstalker Army List via the Mantic Companion, we'll have much more on all this great news nearer the release date, so keep an eye out.
Nightstalker Ambush Starter Set

Butcher Horde
Butchers are uncompromising, unsubtle and brutally efficient killers. To many they appear as a horrific hybrid of ogre, golem and squid, with massive cleavers in their many hands, covered in dripping gore. The new plastic frames come with multiple options to build with different heads and weapons, including the new ranged unit the Ravagers.

Reaper Regiment
Reapers are vicious, violent creatures, armed with a wicked array of blades, claws, and teeth. They stalk those who fear violence and bloodshed, bringing their worst nightmares to life with lethal and visceral precision. Scarecrow/Doppelganger Regiment
Doppelgangers are faceless, silent, yet spine-chillingly creepy. No matter how desperately the enemy fights, they match them blow for blow, slowly changing to mimic them until the enemy is staring at their own grinning faces.
The zombie-like Scarecrows are always right behind you, shuffling relentlessly and endlessly no matter how far you run.

Nightstalker Heroes
Nightstalkers don’t have leaders in a way that a mortal could understand. Some souls are more intact or more malevolent than others and lead their brethren to the slaughter, but loyalty and leadership are truly alien concepts to these beings. Most simply follow the actions of others like some animalistic herd.

Shadowhound Troop
Shadowhounds are huge, black, twin-headed canines, with gnashing jaws and fur matted with vile ectoplasm. Hunting in packs, those lucky enough to escape these beasts can still hear the howling in their heads long after they have awoken.
It's out with the old PVC and in with more of the beautiful resin Doggo's in this new Shadowhound set.

Phantom Troop
Phantoms are phantasms that appear as cloaked, floating bodies. Their partially hooded heads reveal glimpses of the screaming and bloody skulls of people trapped between worlds. These foul creatures are often seen dragging their victims into their shadow forms, consigning them to a fate best left unknown.
In the same vein as the Shadowhounds, we have moved away from the old PVC so now you just get stunning resin throughout.

Void Lurker
And finally... The pièce de résistance!
Unspeakable and unimaginable things have lived in the dimensions between worlds for eternity. Some have an intelligence of sorts and understand enough to sense the rents in the fabric of the universe and know how to locate them. These Void Lurkers attach themselves to the nightstalkers as they stream into the fascinating and bizarre reality where the mortals reside. There, they coalesce into whatever mismatched and petrifying shape will best sate their voracious appetites.
