The terrAin-Team

19th Jun 2023

Martin Thirlwell

****Please have the A-Team theme tune playing as you read this****

In 2023, a crack Terrain Building unit was sent to HQ to fill a table with terrain goodness by Ronnie for a crime they didn’t commit (probably). These men armed with glue guns, paint brushes and snippers promptly challenged each other to a build-off, each with having a different theme in mind! Today, still wanted by the government (and HR), they survive as painters of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them - maybe you can hire...

The TerrAin-Team.

……duh duh duh duh der da der duh duh derrr… EXPLOSIONS!

Martin here…and I love terrain. You love terrain. We all love TERRAIN – ARRRGHHHHHHH!!!

A few of us here at Mantic wanted to show the world how diverse Terrain Crate is and how simple it is to use for many tabletop games, not just our own, so we sat down to compete in our own Terrain Building Challenge. In the hyper-capitalist urban sprawls of the GCPS, consumers are bombarded with the neon glamour and bright advertising of dozens of corporations in every street. These systems continue to function long after they’re abandoned inside of containment protocols.

These street accessories are designed for use with the modular Terrain Crate building system.

Sci-Fi Terrain: Ruined City

Humanity fights wars on many fronts across the stars. As quickly as a new colony and infrastructure are established, it is ruined or abandoned to alien incursions. Many armies still fight over these collapsing structures, relying on what little cover they can provide. Knowing that they have been abandoned, too.
