What is Clash of Kings 2025?

Hi everyone,

Last week we were talking all about the Forces of the Abyss, which will be shipping from 23rd September.

These fantastic new hard plastic kits, and their astonishing centrepiece, the Lord of Lies, have gone down a storm - and we hope are giving you all sorts of very cool hobby ideas for future projects, multibases, and dioramas. Their revamped army list is coming to print very soon....

So, on that topic, hot on their heels in October will be Clash of Kings 2025 - which we're going to have a first preview of today!

What is Clash of Kings?

Excellent question, especially for any new players who've joined our community during the last 12 months. First things first - welcome!

In a nutshell - Clash of Kings is our once-a-year book where we:

1. Collect the very latest lore and background with gorgeous new art
2. Update everyone's rules in print
3. Bring you brand-new game content to keep things fresh

This last bit is very exciting - and all about putting more exciting things in your 'toolbox' as a gamer. Previously our books have introduced cool new ways to play (Siege, Legendary, and Ambush games), as well as a bunch of additional scenarios - and we have some exciting new options for you to explore this year as well!

The book is once again the result of a huge combined effort by a big team, from the studio to our artists, writers, rules committee, and playtesters - and we're very excited to launch it this October.
